Information for students from the Philipines

Entry requirements

If you do not have UK qualifications, we will consider equivalent qualifications from Philippines for entry onto our Foundation, Bachelor’s and Master’s courses.

Each application we receive is considered individually and therefore these qualifications are provided as a guide.

Please also check the entry requirements on the specific course you are interested in to check for course-specific requirements.

If you are not sure if you have the necessary qualifications please contact internationaladmissions@uca.ac.uk.


For our Bachelor's courses, we usually require that you have one of the following:

  • Associates Degree from a recognised Philippine university with B, GPA 2.0/5.0(1 is the highest mark) or GPA 3.0/4.0
  • A transcript showing successful completion of two years of Bachelor's degree from a recognised Philippine university with B, GPA 2.0/5.0(1 is the highest mark), or GPA 3.0/4.0

For our International Foundation in Creative Practices and our Integrated International Foundation courses, we usually require that you have a Philippine High School Diploma with 80% or better.

September 2024

For our Master's courses, we usually require that you have one of the following:

  • Successful completion of your Bachelor's degree from a Centre of Excellence or prestigious university 
  • Successful completion of your Master's degree from a recognised university

January 2025 onwards

For our Master's courses, we usually require that you have one of the following:

  • Successful completion of your Bachelor degree from one of the following institutions:
    • Ateneo de Manila University - Quezon City
    • De La Salle University - Manila
    • University of Santo Tomas
    • University of the Philippines - Diliman 
  • Successful completion of your Master's degree from a recognised university

Scholarships & bursaries

UCA offers a number of fee discounts, also known as scholarships, specific to students from overseas.

These discounts are available to new international students and international alumni, who have graduated within the last three years.
